The Bloom Forum | Fab 15 | Week 3 | Vintage

VINTAGE…
When trying to come up with an idea for this week’s Bloom Forum Project 52, I remembered an old book that was found in a truckload of junk from an old library that I saved. Not only was this book old, but it had a personal inscription inside the front cover that really made it special.

This is The Complete Poetical Works of Robert Southey. I couldn’t find an edition date, but the incription reads, ”

Miss Elizabeth Kyle,
a present from her Matthew.
May 17th, 1871

Yep… I’d say its been around a while and earned it’s Vintage Badge! I’ve googled “Elizabeth Kyle”, but nothing came up… Guess Facebook wasn’t as popular back then! 😉

Now.. lets go see what Carrie Terrones has in store for us this week on her BLOG
